About Us
The Meaning Behind the Name
Ware's Beauty Supply is named in honor of my mother, Marilyn Ware. I dedicate this store to the remembrance of a wonderfully made woman of grace, and power. Her heart overflowed with love for her family, her friends, and her community.
She was a pioneer who both commanded respect and gave it freely to others — embracing people of all as well as giving to others of all races and ethnicities. Her spiritual values and deep love for people, including their differences, helped define her journey through the life that God blessed her with.
My mother battle with breast cancer, which ultimately took her life. She fought a good fight and took her last breath in March 2005. She never gave up — she fought until the very end. For that, and for so much more, she will always be my hero.
To all who are fighting their own battles, and to those who have lost someone dear, we pray God's grace and mercy be with you and your loved ones.
The Meaning Behind Our Logo
Teal was my mother’s favorite color, so it was only right that it became part of our logo. The heart represents the love I will have for my her. Even though she is no longer here with us on earth, I know she is watching over me and my family every day.
The crown symbolizes the Queen that I remember her to be — strong, graceful, and full of wisdom. My Mother and her mother both loved wearing their wigs. There is no better way to carry on the blessings and legacy of two beautiful Queens than through Ware’s Beauty Supply.
This logo is more than a design It is love. It is legacy. It is royalty.
